This tutorial is for those that have a working knowledge of PSP and was created using PSP version 9 however it may be created in other versions as well.

Materials Used

Scrap Kit byAmy Marie called "Purple Dreams" Which is a paid kit. You can obtain this kit from one of the following stores:

SATC
TPP
DSI

Font used = Sacramento

NOTES: Sharpen each element as you re size it and apply your favorite drop shadow as you work

Open a new transparent image 900x700 (will re size later)

1. Open element25 (black frame). Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Rotate free 45°. Duplicate and place over the first frame as in my preview below. Layers-arrange-move down. Duplicate, image mirror. Layers-merge down. High light your top layer (center frame). Select the center with your magic wand. Selections-modify-expand by 5 pixels. High light your bottom layer (the two side frames) press the delete key. Select none. Layers-merge all-visible.

2. Using your magic want select the area in the center of your left frame then while holding your shift key click in the center of the two remaining frames. Selections-modify-expand 5 pixels. Open pp014. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Selections-invert. Then making sure you are on the paper layer that you just applied press the delete key. Select none. Plugins-Adjust-Variations and press the lighter button 3 times.

3. High light the top layer and open element1. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Image flip and re size 80% and arrange over the lower left frame. Using the eraser tool, erase the entire stem of the leaves. Duplicate-image-mirror. Layers merge down.

4. Open element 60, Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Rotate free to the left 45°. Arrange over the center and left frame. Duplicate-image-mirror, layers merge down. Using the selection tool, select the top portion of the ribbon and press the delete key. Select none.

5. High light the top layer. Open element74. (Do Not close it out). Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 50% and rotate free 45° to the left. Arrange over the lower left corner of left frame. Duplicate, image mirror. Go back to your element74. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 50% and this time rotate free 45° to the right. arrange over the right frame above the previous roses. Duplicate-image-mirror. Layers merge down 3x.

6.  High light the top layer. Open element39. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 35% and rotate free 45° to the left. and arrange in the center left of the roses you just placed. Duplicate-image-mirror. Layers merge down.

7. High light the top layer and open element6. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 50% and arrange between the lower center and right frame. Image-duplicate-mirror. Layers-merge down.

8. High light the top layer and open element79. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 80%, rotate free 45° to the right and arrange in the lower right of the center frame, image-duplicate-image mirror. Layers merge down.

9. High light the top layer and open element78. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 50% and arrange in the lower right of the tag.

10. Making sure your top layer is high lighted open element45. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 15% and arrange over the purple leaves as in my tag preview, duplicate and arrange again as in my preview. Layers merge down, Image-duplicate mirror. Layers merge down.

11. High light the top layer and open element36. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 50% and arrange over the lower center of the center frame and flowers as you see in my tag.

12. High light the paper layer. Open a tube of choice or the one that I am using. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size as needed and arrange to liking. Once satisfied. Duplicate your tube then go to layers-arrange- bring to top. Using your selection tool, select the body which will stick out of the frame. You want it to look as if she is coming out of the frame. Once you have the area selected that you want removed press your delete key and select none. 

13. High light your top (tube layer). Open element63. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Image-flip and rotate free 45° to the left and then arrange in the upper left of your tag as in my tag. Duplicate-image mirror. Layers-merge down, duplicate image flip. You now want to move this entire layer down below the frame but above the paper layer.

14. High light your paper layer. Open element87. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Resize 90%, and arrange to your liking on the right side of your tag. Once happy with the placement, duplicate, image mirror. Layers merge down. 

15. High light your frame layer and with your magic wand select the center of each one, selections, modify expand by 5 pixels, now high light your sparkle layer, selections, invert and press your delete key. Select none.

16. Once you are completely satisfied with the way your tag looks, Layers merge all visible. Re size to your liking. Make sure you sharpen at this point. Now duplicate and high light your bottom (original layer). Adjust-blur-Gaussian blur 20.00 and hit ok, now go to effects, texture effects, blinds with the following settings. Width = 3, Opacity = 60, Color = #310F3A. Horizontal and light from left/top both left unchecked. Hit apply button.

17. High light your top layer and open element91. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas. Re size 80% and arrange in the upper left of your tag as you see in mine. Duplicate, image mirror, layers merge down. Duplicate, image flip. Layers merge down. Move this layer below your tag and above the blurred/textured layer.

18. High light your top layer and open element88. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your working canvas and place it over the lower portion of your tag to your liking. 

Once you are satisfied with the way your tag looks merge all your layers visible, re size to liking and add your name and © and export as your favorite image format.
